An Abundance Of Texture In A Unique Kitchen In Szczecin, Poland

Interior Design: Bosko Studio | Photography: Giulia Maretti Studio

The Casa Norte project in Szczecin, designed by Kasia Kronberger of Bosko Studio, is a story of subtle balance between bold accents. For its residents, who normally live in sunny Spain, the designer created a space intended to encourage more frequent visits to their homeland. The resulting composition is based on soft contrasts, where warm shades meet more intense hues, while smooth surfaces entwine with sculptural textures.

Tailor-made craftsmanship

To create this multi-layered space, where every element combines applied art with everyday life, all the furniture in the house was thoughtfully designed and crafted by talented professionals. To realise her vision in the kitchen, the designer chose FRØPT fronts paired with carpenter-crafted cabinets. The textured veneer on the lower cabinets serves as a focal point, drawing attention to the space. The Coral fronts allow for customisation and lend the kitchen an artisanal character.

This project is a proper combination of bold colours and artisanal textures, where applied art meets everyday life.

Coral – structure that provides depth

The Coral fronts, with their irregular embossing in the deep Honey Oak shade, provide a counterpoint to the smooth surfaces and light, matte walls. Combined with the shimmering tiles and pink granite countertops and the geometric cobalt table, they create a harmonious, yet not overstimulating whole.

This model, which evokes organic, sculptural textures, perfectly aligns with the designer’s philosophy, who puts great emphasis on comfort and authenticity. “I firmly believe that an upscale kitchen shouldn’t look like an operating room. Textures add character and can be very practical. A room that is central to daily life shouldn’t resemble a laboratory.”
