Surrounded by the sandy beaches of Normandy in Benerville, the designers of the Parisian Studio Bateaumagne created a residence for Aur\u00e9lie and Didier. Its fa\u00e7ade, in the style of a Hampton summer residence, led them to base their vision on the use of wood. Designing the kitchen, they reached for our bestselling Walnut fronts<\/a><\/span> in the Stripe model<\/a><\/span> for a natural and warm interior experience.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Eclecticism in the summerhouse<\/span><\/h4>

House architecture featuring a breathtaking sea views and Aur\u00e9lie\u2019s fondness for eclecticism allowed for the creation of a <\/span>\u00a0<\/span>multidimensional interior. Such idea aims to provide moments of tranquillity and relaxation with family and friends. The personal character of the interior is blended here with a 1970s style, Bohemian spirit, exotic elements and refined French and world-class design. This is complemented by a natural colour palette ranging from sand to forest green, highlighted by the use of handmade paper textures, wood, glazed ceramics, terracotta and fleshy fabrics.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Walnut in a kitchen surrounded by sand<\/span><\/h4>\n

Opening with a dark walnut kitchen, the light-filled, expansive living area is the complex vision of Audrey and Julien of Studio Bateaumagne.<\/span>

The natural veneer of the Stripe fronts<\/a><\/span> enchants and sets the tone for the entire arrangement. American Walnut<\/a><\/span> on the kitchen cabinets, pantry and kitchen island is complemented by Eclipse handles from Plankton<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/h3>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The kitchen, which is open to the dining room, responds to the sculptural oak table, the idea of the homeowner Didier. The socialising-friendly bar area was created with rectangular tiles in ochre, providing a contrast to the white tiles of the kitchen worktop. And, as befits a home for summer relaxation, elements of palm fibre, jute, straw and earthenware abound.<\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Bateaumagne Studio<\/span><\/h6>

Audrey Magne and Julien Bateau, founders of Paris-based Studio Bateaumagne, have been creating interiors full of simplicity and modernity since 2012, reaching for warm details to enrich their clients\u2019 daily lives. Right from design to fabrication, they also create original objects that become part of the living space and build the history of the interiors decorated by the Studio.<\/span>
